Battle of the Badges
It’s the annual Battle of the Badges basketball game between the Yankton Police Department and the Yankton Fire/EMS Department on February 23rd at Mount Mary University’s Cimpl Arena. Exhibition game begins at 1:30pm as the Yankton All Stars take on the Sheep Dogs and the main event starting at 3pm.
Admission is $5, children age 5 and under are free. It is a great charity event that is always fun to watch! Don’t miss your chance to win great prizes such as a flat screen TV, a Blackstone Griddle & more! Proceeds support Yankton Area Special Olympics and helps fund scholarships for high school students.
Chasing the 4 of Clubs Fundraiser
Support the Clay County fair with the 4 of Clubs Fundraiser. Two weekly winners will receive a $50 gift certificate to the host location and have a chance of drawing the 4 of CLUBS at the Grand Finale and winning half of the total event pot!
Tickets will be sold at Varsity Pub February 26th, March 5, 12, & 19th from 5:30-7:30 pm. Two winners will be drawn each Wednesday at approximately 7:45 pm. Dr. Experimentor & The League of Evil
Join the Dakota Theatre for the Children’s Theatre comedy, Dr. Experimentor & The League of Evil, March 14-16th.
Dr. Experimentor, a mastermind supervillain, must fight to maintain his membership in the infamous League of Evil. There’s just one problem-membership means defeating superhero Extremo, who happens to be his best friend! Hilarity and redemption ensue!

River City Rainbow Chase
Lace up your running shoes Lads and Lasses! Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day with a chase for the ages through the beautiful river city of Yankton on Sunday March 16th. Whether you’re looking to compete in the exciting 5K race or feeling lucky enough to tackle the Lucky 7 mile race, you’re sure to reach the end of the rainbow!

Gala De la CASA
Join Southeast CASA for an evening of live comedic dueling piano entertainment featuring Dueling Duo of Sioux Falls on Saturday, April 12th at 6pm, located at the Brewery in Yankton.
